About Us
The Whales Tail provides passengers with the adventure of a lifetime through excellent customer service, first class vessel, the highest possible safety standards and added value from an on-the-water education of not only whales and marine life but navigation and boat handling. We were the first and original zodiac style whale watching boat on the Oregon coast. We are the only zodiac style whale watching boat in Depoe Bay who has been inspected and approved by the state of Oregon and have all the latest safety equipment. I hope you will join us on a exciting whale watching excursion aboard the “Whales Tail”.
How to Find Us
We are located on the Central Oregon Coast, half way between Lincoln City and Newport, highway 101 passes right through the center of town. Turn east at the only traffic light at the north end of the bridge and follow the road down around to the backside of the bay, past the Coast Guard Station, into the harbor parking lot. Our office is located in the middle of the parking lot right across from the boat docks. “No” stairs to climb to get down to the boat.
