Whale Watching Guidelines for COVID-19

The Governor of Oregon along with Lincoln County officials have given us the go-ahead to re-open but there are some changes we are making on our vessels to assure your safety. We have developed operating guidelines that will allow us to resume our tours while safeguarding our customers and captains.

We will be re-opening June 1 to resume our whale watching tours.

  1. Call the day before your trip to make sure there are no changes in the Governor’s Phase 1 opening.
  2. We strongly recommend that you wear face coverings (cloth or mask) in public. BRING YOUR OWN MASK. Remember you’re not just protecting yourself you’re keeping the virus from reaching other customers.
  3. Captains will frequently clean all “high touch” surfaces such as rails and seating.
  4. Customers are encouraged to bring their own hand sanitizer.
  5. Obviously anyone displaying symptoms will be refused service for everyone’s safety. Person(s) with known symptoms will not be granted permission aboard the vessel. Customers with symptoms would be directed to immediately consult with health care providers. For more information visit: COVID-19
